The graph consists of points in the four quadrants using ordered pairs with integers and fractional points using the fractions 1/2 and 2/3 for detail. It is also appropriate for the beginning coordinate graphing student who is familiar with fractions and negative coordinates. This project is for the intermediate coordinate graphing student. It also works as an extra credit assignment or when there is a substitute. This activity can be a class project or something to be worked on independently when time allows. This will be created by plotting ordered pairs and then connecting them with straight lines. Students will use their knowledge of coordinate graphing and ordered pairs to work creating a drawing of a snowflake using all four quadrants. ![]() This project can be used for the winter season.
